This competency describes the ability to design media-supported learning content in such a way that it picks up and conveys relevant and current information or concepts from the present.
Rationale
In a constantly changing world, it is important that learning content is up-to-date and relates to the present. In this way, students can link the examples to current situations.
Example
In history lessons, an educator could use media-based learning content that links historical events to current news or social developments.
