Data ethics competency refers to the knowledge and skills to apply ethical principles and legal regulations related to digital data and technologies.
In the age of digitalization, data protection and ethical behavior are of great importance. The ability to handle data responsibly is essential to protecting privacy and legal compliance.
An example of the application of data ethics competency would be when a teacher keeps personal student information secure, follows privacy policies, and respects ethics when using student information to protect student privacy and rights.
